Great with children and elderly people, make wonderful service animals.A little about me. I am a bit different, I am not a typical breeder, My dogs and my pups are a part of our family, we do not have kennels here, they all live in our home, and if you go to my website and click on facility, under photos http://wheatenswhoodles.com/photos/facility/ you will see that I actually have a puppy nursery. My pups are not raised on news papers, nor are they raised outside. I do laundry from the time I get up until I go to bed bleaching sheets and blankets to make sure they stay clean and healthy. For the first couple weeks I do not leave my home, nor do I sleep much, as I am so afraid that a mom will roll over on a pup, or a pup will get behind the mom, my husband and I wake all through the night checking on mom and babies. I will only leave my home at the most an hour after that point, until they go home. (Someone has to be home to pick up puppy poo (so they do not step in it and get sick) Because my pups live in our home I have to potty train them, they are Potty Park trained when you get them home. I also do this to keep the area clean so they do not step in poo and walk around the pen in it, This is where health issues happen. I do not leave their water down for them, I constantly through the day, give them water, they take a drink and when they are done, I pick up the water. You do not want pups to walk in poo and then put their feet in the water then drink it, this causes parasites, so this is another reason I do not leave our home while I have pups on the ground,.When they start eating I do not just give them puppy food and call it good. They start out on smoothies, these smoothies help get their tummies ready for food, then I introduce food to them slowly by grinding up their food to a powder and sprinkling it over their smoothies, I add more and more each day until they can tolerate puppy food. Our pups are handled all day every day, they will go home submissive and loving. Of course this needs to be kept up at home in order for the pup to know who is boss, but it starts here. My husband and I play with them all the time. At 4 weeks old they are out in our family room during the day to interact with us and the adult dog at night they go back into the nursery. My pups are on a schedule, They are in bed by 8:00 pm every night and they are up about 5am every morning. Their nursery has a radio and that radio is on the moment they are born, so that when their ears open they start getting use to noise from the moment they can hear. This also helps them not be nervous around noise.I am also different because I do not just sell you a puppy and you go about your business. My exclusive puppy parent page, allows all of us to stay in touch, I get to watch my kids grow up as well as if there are any issues, we are all there to help each other. If down the road as my kids get older and we have any health issues, you guys know the minute I do so you can watch for things. It's a family and everyone there helps each other, with training, questions and all kinds of stuff including a good laugh or a fun video. Here is the link to my page. https://www.facebook.com/bryan.tammiIf you decide to become a Puppy Parent in Waiting you will get the link to our exclusive Puppy Parent Page.Website Link: http://wheatenswhoodles.com/
